Dr. Azim's Inspiration
Hi, I'm Dr. Azim and I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. Since becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, I have seen a direct decrease in medication intake by my patients, increased levels of positive energy and happiness, and my patients are livelier since the easing their pain. I am very happy to be a part of their life and their achievement of attaining better health.
Chiropractic really settled with me years ago when my daughter began to experience severe allergies. At this time, I was in my last year at Cleveland Chiropractic College, I was concerned because she sneezed so
many times daily, especially in the morning. I had recently experienced the loss of my father to asthma because he could not find his inhaler. The loss of my father frightened me because allergies and stress can lead to
asthma, which was not an option for my daughter. When I began my chiropractic education, I would adjust my daughter and son sporadically. However, I began adjusting them more frequently, and after a
few weeks, her symptoms decreased and within two months, my daughter's allergies were completely gone. Mind you, she was only 8 years old at that time, and now she is a beautiful, energized college student enjoying
life.
I was born in a small town; my family's medical doctor was also a friend of the family. Thus, when my siblings and I were sick my mother would take us to the doctor, who would in turn diagnose our dis-ease. My
mother treated our illnesses in a holistic and homeopathic way. Because there wasn't a chiropractor available to care for us, my mother took us to an herbalist close to our home. The herbalist used various herbs
and concoctions of herbs and we were eased of any pains or illnesses. I believe this planted a seed in my mind that pharmaceutical medicines are not the answer. Your body actually has enough tools to heal itself,
we just need to steer our bodies in the right direction. A healthy body's brain functions at 100% all the time. However, misalignments interfere with optimal functioning, and consequently lead to diseases.
As a chiropractor, I want to be a part of your family's health care and help you lead a happier and healthier life.
